Is this legal? I mean has it really become freeware or abandonware over the years? Just to be safe I bought it on Amazon. I got the King’s Quest Collection, 7 games, King’s Quest 1-7 for for only $9.90. Good deal. And it was new, not even used. When you factor in the shipping and handling, it worked out to only $1.98 per game. I wonder if today’s $40/$50/$60 games will only cost a couple of bucks 20 years from now?
best of the series.. my gramma’s old Compaq Presario came bundled with it .. so of course, I ended up with it.. AWESOME. Easter egg challenge for ya.. just try to get the hi-resolution graphics to work.. they’re tough to enable on some systems, default on others.. WEIRD.
Hey I downloaded DOSBOX and the game but i can’t play the game. Not sure if I have to install it or what. Nothing seem to work in the kings quest 6 file i downloaded. Help please? Thanks

I would love some help in figuring out how to get this game running on my newer computer. I had the series when I was a kid, this was the last one I played and never got to finish it and I loved it! It downloaded, DosBox also downloaded fine, but the KQ zip file doesn’t look correct it almost looks like a virus, so if you or anyone else has managed to get this DL from this site to work please email me at kimionline1 at gmail.com and subject it king quest so I know it isnt spam. Thanks!
Got the game to work inside Dosbox, however, the voice overs don’t seem to be loading at all… I know the voice overs are in the RESOURCE.AUD file, but I’m not that great with dos. HELP!
